His Suffering Was My Saving Grace…

The “Via Dolorosa,” Sung by Broadway Musical Star (Miss Saigon) Lea Salonga

“But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
This righteousness from God come through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.
There is no difference,
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in His blood.   He did this to demonstrate His justice, because in His forbearance, He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished–
He did it to demonstrate His justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus…

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand…

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly…

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this:  While we were still sinners, Christ died for us…

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned…

For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous…

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord,”
~Romans 3:21-26; 5:1, 6-8, 12,19; 6:23

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life,” ~John 3:16

“Above All” sung by Michael W. Smith

  1. These two songs Lynn always bring tears to my eyes every time I hear it because it is always a reminder about the unconditional love Christ had for me as He was led to be crucified.

The fact that we are the people that cry out for His death everytime we sin is a powerful testament to how much God loved us. Even when we were in Sin, He was still thinking of us.

  4. It’s very True Lynn we can’t earn our Salvation and we were not worthy of it but we will show we have it as Romans 8 below tells us and so do the other Scriptures confirm this Truth.

Romans 8:1-5 There is therefore now no Condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after The Spirit. For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of Sin and death. For what the Law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh God sending His own Son in the likeness of Sinful flesh and for Sin condemned Sin in the flesh: That the Righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh but they that are after The Spirit the things of The Spirit..(KJV)

Romans 3:30-31 Seeing it is one God which shall justify the Circumcision by Faith and Uncircumcision through Faith. Do we then make void the Law through Faith? God forbid: yea we establish the Law..(KJV)

Matthew 5:16-18 Let your light so Shine before Men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the Law or the Prophets: I Am not come to destroy but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you; Till Heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law till all be fulfilled.(KJV)

Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore Brothers we have an obligation but it is not to the Sinful Nature to live according to it or if you live according to the Sinful nature you will die but if by The Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body you will Live because those who are led by The Spirit of God are sons of God. .(KJV)

1 John 3: 1-12 ( 6-7 ) Whosoever abideth in Him Sinneth not whosoever Sinneth hath not seen Him neither known Him. Little Children let no Man deceive you he that doeth Righteousness is Righteous, even as He is Righteous. .(KJV)

      1. Thank you Lynn and yes many Blessings for Easter, it is indeed a Wonderful expression of God’s Love for us.

My hardest battle right now Lynn is staying awake it is because my Heart is not functioning normally, I fall asleep even as I Blog, Thank you for your Prayers for my Operation and Recovery, God has healed me from Heart problems two times before and the Doctors could not explain why I no longer needed Surgery but I believe God also uses different tools such as Doctors, Medicine and Natural remedies etc to heal us but He is The only Healer, all good things come from Him and being Healed is very good, yes we Thank our Doctors but God first.

Lynn I never received your last Post, I found it when I visited you before I went to bed, it is still saying I’m following you so it is strange as I have always received them before.

        Blessings – Anne.

      2. Hi, Anne… I think this happened to a number of people… and the fault is probably mine. I scheduled my most recent post when I was very tired, and I forgot that I must use what is called military time if I wish to schedule an evening post. I planned my Resurrection post to post on Saturday evening at 8:30 pm. Unfortunately for me, I scheduled it for 8:30 instead of 20:30 on Saturday. Thus, my post published on Saturday morning instead of Saturday night. I almost always post at night… so those who follow me probably generally check blogs at that particular time whatever it might be in their hemisphere. With my blog posting at an unusual time, it would be easy to miss it. Let me know if you continue to have difficulty. But I suspect that as I post at my customary time, you will see my posts on your “reader.”

I’m so sorry about the exhaustion that you are experiencing, dear Anne! I will pray that God will especially carry you during this time, leading up to your surgery! Love and huge hugs!!

      3. Thank you Lynn for your explanation and yes I will let you know if I don’t receive any of your Posts in future.

Lynn I was wondering why many including Pastors and well known Evangelists claim that we Sin until we Die when the Scriptures do not confirm this as True but say the opposite when we are Born Again and Perfected in Love.

But to be honest Lynn I thought the same until I asked for God’s Wisdom that none of us are Born with so we all lack it and as the Scriptures confirm, it’s the only way to Understand His Truth with His empowering by The Holy Spirit.(1Corinthians 2:9-16) We see the reality of our being Sinless after we are Perfected in Love clearly confirmed also in God’s Plan of Salvation for all of us who Love Him. Perhaps you can offer an explanation Lynn why so many are confused even those in Christian Leadership.

Thank you again Lynn Blessings – Anne.

      4. Hello, dear Anne… Thank you for your kind reply. About your question, that requires a lengthy reply on my part… and sigh… unfortunately, I’m on my way out for the evening. However, I think the book of 1 John addresses the sin and the believer issue well. And that’s where I would turn. Thank you so much for your wonderful friendship! You and your love for God are such an inspiration and encouragement, dear Anne!
