From Our House to Yours…

Merry Christmas!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders.  And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,” ~Isaiah 9:6

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign:  The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel,” ~Isaiah 7:14

“But after he (Joseph) had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.  She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins,’  All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: ‘The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel’–which means, ‘God with us,'” ~Matthew 1:20-23

    • Oh, I would be honored if you posted the song on your Songathon next year, Steven! It’s one of my favorites as it expresses so much truth, and I love the key! One of the things I especially appreciate about you (among many actually) is your keen understanding, skill and appreciation of a variety of musical forms. My music taste is eclectic and so I love the music you choose. 🙂 Merry Christmas, my talented friend!
